9:30 a.m. Discussion Group
“Springtime Celebrations Around the World and In Our Own Experiences” will be the topic for the day.
The children are invited to attend an Easter Egg hunt at 10:00 with the Episcopalians.
11:00 a.m. ish
At the conclusion of all this festivity and spiritual pondering, we will reconvene at our “property” on Highway 140 East. We will have a rustic springtime picnic, followed by a bit of spring cleaning…specifically, we want to spend some time cleaning out the mobile structure. The objective for the building clean up is to get it cleared out so that it might be salable to a manufactured home dealer or to another source in order to retire the mortgage and associated costs, after a decision at the annual meeting.
Suggest: work / picnic clothes, hats, gloves, water for drinking and washing hands (no water on site), camp chairs for yourselves and others if you have them, card table or similar, rakes, broom, rags to tie around broom for clearing cobwebs from inside the building, and dust pan, boxes for books, etc.
For those of you who may not know where the site of our former building is, take Hwy. 140 East at the fork near KCC; just past the entrance to Shield Crest on the left, there is a driveway to the property. A small mobile building is there, and the chimney of the old building. There is also a large “Museum levy YES” sign on the side of the road. You also can’t miss the very large cottonwood trees!
ALSO PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE SERVICE ON THE 27TH WILL BE FOLLOWED BY OUR ANNUAL MEETING. PLEASE TRY TO ATTEND THIS IMPORTANT SERVICE AND MEETING AFTERWARD!
