Important News for this Sunday at UU Fellowship

This Sunday at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Klamath Falls:

The Discussion at 9:30 is led by Bob Millard and requires your participation.  It will be another fun “Show and Tell” time!   This week, he suggests that the theme be “Show and Tell something that has influenced your spirituality”  – that’s pretty wide-open to interpretation.  So, bring an object, a photo, or a story – anything you’d like to share with the group!

The worship service starts at 10:30, with Sally Wells as our service leader.

The Rev. Annie Holmes of Corvallis will give the sermon.  Her topic is “Deeds Not Creeds”, which asks “what do we really know about the words Unitarian or Universalist?  Where did the words come from and why, after 200 years, are we still using them?  And who are the people who made this way of being religious a worldwide phenomenon?”  Rev. Holmes will address this fascinating history and make it come alive once again.

The social hour will follow the service, hosted by Sue Graves.  Plan to stay for coffee and refreshments!

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Klamath Falls is a welcoming congregation:

A Welcoming Congregation is inclusive and expressive of the concerns of people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer at every level of congregational life—in worship, in program, and in social occasions—welcoming not only their presence but the unique gifts and particularities of their lives as well.
